Fujitsu Seimens has announced Esprimo series three light and compact model laptops aimed at the professional market. The Fujitsu Seimens Esprimo Mobile Laptops come with built in 3G connectivity, WLAN, Bluetooth 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet, ExpressCard 54 slot, three USB 2.0 ports, card memory reader. All three Fujitsu Seimens Esprimo Mobile Laptops are based on Intel Celeron or Core2Duo processors and integrated GMA X3100 graphics, SATA hard drives up to 160GB and a dual layer DVD writer. A brilliant 39.1 cm (15.4-inch) widescreen plus ergonomic full-sized keyboard ensures maximum working comfort both on the road and in the office. Several models offer also embedded mobile broadband (3G/UMTS). ESPRIMO Mobile V is the versatile all-round professional notebook for the price-conscious, casual user.
The smallest and lightest model of the Fujitsu Seimens Esprimo Mobile Laptop series is the 12.1″ U9200, weighing in at 1.8kg without the optical drive. The 14.1″ M9400 of the Fujitsu Seimens Esprimo Mobile Laptop series weighs 2.1kg, while the biggest 15.4″ machineof the Fujitsu Seimens Esprimo Mobile Laptop series is the D9500, weighs 2.5kg. The latter one is available in WXGA and WXGA+, while the smaller models have WXGA screens. Nice machines, but I don’t think anyone would mind if Siemens Fujitsu did something about its design. Not that it’s bad, the machines look elegant, but the sharp-edged design is just a bit too sterile for my taste. These notebooks strikes the balance between robust performance and mobility at very attractive price.
